Dyna|spheres® English Pool Vanadium 524 – Phenolic Resin Balls

The Vanadium 524 is the 52.4mm variant in the Dynaspheres Vanadium range, engineered for continental European pool formats that call for a ball size between the English pool standard of 50.8mm and the American pool standard of 57.2mm. Where the Vanadium 572 is built for American pool tables, the 524 is the correct choice for tables designed around the 52.4mm specification, which is widely used across European mainland formats and in purpose-built European pool venues. The set delivers the same Pool Pro Series precision and phenolic resin construction as the rest of the Vanadium range, applying Dynaspheres’ manufacturing standards to a format that has historically had fewer quality options available to operators and venue owners.

THE COLOUR SCHEME

The solid balls in this set are blue, giving the Vanadium 524 a visual identity that is immediately distinct from yellow and red English pool sets. The full complement of eight solid blue balls is matched by seven striped balls and completed by the cue ball, which carries two red dots for easy identification on the table. The combination produces a clean, professional appearance on the cloth and makes for sharp visibility under venue lighting conditions.

THE SPECIFICATION

Every ball in the Vanadium 524 is manufactured from phenolic resin, the material of choice for professional pool ball sets due to its density, hardness, and resistance to chipping and discolouration over time. The set meets the Pro Series hardness standard of 59 Rockwell E or above, ensuring consistent rebound behaviour and long-term durability under heavy commercial use. Roundness is held to 0.03mm or less and each ball weighs 130g within a tolerance of plus or minus 1.0g, with a density of 1.73.

SIZE COMPATIBILITY

This set is 52.4mm. It is not a 57.2mm American pool ball set. If you stock or operate the Vanadium 572 or are familiar with the standard American pool ball size, the 524 is smaller and will not perform correctly on a table built for 57.2mm balls. Before ordering, confirm that your table is specified for 52.4mm balls. E-Service is happy to help if you need guidance before placing an order.
