Dyna|spheres® Pool Prime Carbon 572 – Dynaphex Resin

The Carbon 572 TV is a full 16-all American pool set manufactured by Dynaspheres to professional tournament standard. The 572 designation refers to the ball diameter: 57.2mm, the recognised standard for American pool tables worldwide. The TV designation is the defining characteristic of this set — the colour scheme has been specifically formulated and calibrated for televised and broadcast play, with each ball colour selected to maximise contrast and legibility under studio lighting and on-screen reproduction. Where a standard pool set may produce colours that bleed or flatten on camera, the TV palette is engineered to remain visually distinct at broadcast resolution, making this the natural choice for televised tournaments, venue showcase tables, and any environment where on-camera performance matters. The balls are constructed from Dynaphex Resin, Dynaspheres’ next-generation proprietary resin formulation, and manufactured to tolerances that meet professional competition requirements. E-Service (Europe) Ltd is the official UK distributor for Dynaspheres.

THE BALL SET

The Carbon 572 TV ships as a complete 16-ball set: 8 solid balls including the 8-all, 7 striped balls, and 1 cue ball marked with 6 black dots. The TV colour scheme differentiates this set from a standard pool configuration. Rather than the conventional colour palette developed for in-person venue play, the TV set uses a high-contrast colour formulation selected specifically for broadcast performance — the tones are calibrated to remain visually separable under studio and venue lighting conditions when captured on camera and reproduced on screen. This makes colour identification reliable for both on-table players and television audiences, which is essential in tournament broadcasting. The cue ball carries 6 evenly distributed black dot markings. These markings serve a practical function: they allow players, coaches, referees, and broadcast analysts to read the ball’s spin, pace, and roll in real time. On camera, dot visibility makes the cue ball’s behaviour transparent, which is particularly valuable for commentary, coaching review, and broadcast production.

THE SPECIFICATION

The Carbon 572 TV is constructed from Dynaphex Resin, Dynaspheres’ proprietary next-eneration resin formulation. This material is distinct from standard phenolic resin — it represents a further development in ball composition, engineered to deliver superior performance characteristics rather than simply meeting the existing benchmark. Hardness is rated at 40 Rockwell or above, which means the balls resist chipping, crazing, and surface degradation under sustained commercial play. Roundness tolerance is held to 0.03mm or less, ensuring consistent roll and predictable ball response across every shot. Weight is set at 169g ±1.0g, maintaining the set balance that players expect and that consistent play requires. Density is 1.73, contributing to the controlled, authoritative feel on contact that distinguishes a precision ball from a commodity product.
