A year after opening its expanded depot in Castleford, E-Service says a series of investments in people, technology and stockholding have helped cement its reputation as the industry’s “Home of the Spares”.
Over the last 12 months, the company has continued to invest heavily in its operations, creating a fully automated and paperless warehouse environment designed to improve efficiency, accuracy and customer service across its growing customer base.
Among the developments is the implementation of SAP smart scanning technology throughout the depot, allowing stock movements to be tracked in real time and seamlessly integrated with the company’s stock management systems.
E-Service’s inventory is now fully synchronised with its website, providing customers with improved visibility of product availability and helping streamline the ordering process.
The Castleford facility has also undergone further expansion, with the installation of taller racking systems and increased stockholding capacity to support growing demand from operators across the amusement, gaming and leisure sectors.
Supporting this growth has been a significant investment in people. Five new members of staff have joined the business over the past year, strengthening both warehouse and operational functions and helping the company meet increasing customer demand.
At the same time, E-Service continues to expand its product portfolio, with new product lines being added regularly across payment solutions, spares, components, pool equipment, change machines, contactless technologies and operational supplies.
The company is also investing in improvements to its website, with a focus on making the customer journey simpler, faster and more intuitive for operators searching for parts, equipment and support services.
Today, E-Service supplies customers operating across AGCs, holiday parks, pool halls, amusement arcades, family entertainment centres and casinos, providing what is believed to be one of the most comprehensive ranges of equipment, spares and components available from a single source in the UK market.
Paul Scott, Sales Director at E-Service, said: “The last 12 months have been incredibly positive for the business. We’ve continued to invest in the areas that matter most to our customers – stock availability, operational efficiency, technology and people.
“Our aim has always been to make it as easy as possible for customers to find the products they need and get them delivered quickly. The investments we’ve made in our Castleford operation, together with ongoing improvements to our website and product range, are helping us do exactly that.
“We’re proud of how far we’ve come over the past year, but we’re certainly not standing still. We have exciting plans for the months ahead and are looking forward to meeting
customers at IAAPA Europe in London, ACOS and, of course, EAG as preparations begin for another busy year.”
With a growing team, expanded stockholding, new product lines and further investment planned, E-Service believes it is well positioned to continue supporting operators across the UK’s leisure, gaming and entertainment industries for many years to come.
